Rare Ammonite Necklace

This necklace is made of sterling silver with a yellow gold plating. The center of the piece is a fossilized ammonite shell. An ammonite is a marine mollusk that is extinct. The center shell is 3" x 2.4" and is bezel set. Their are three ammonite shells in total. The necklace is also accented with tigers eye, agates, smoky topaz, citrine, and quartz. The necklace is 20" and is adjustable. The closure is a lobster claw. It is a heavy piece, weighing over 7 oz. This piece is slightly damaged, the center piece fell out and had to be reglued. However, the damage is only noticeable on the back as seen in the last photo. Originally as new the piece was $600 and has since been reduced to $300.
